Duplicate Content on Search Engines

Once you've configured your website or content to function seamlessly through a CDN Zone with CacheGenie, it's possible for your content to be accessible from both your own domain and the CDN URL / CNAME. This situation can lead to unnecessary duplication, potentially harming your SEO ranking.

To avoid duplicate links being crawled by search engines like Google and others, you can establish Canonical URLs. Fortunately, we've streamlined this process for you. Simply activate the 'Add Canonical Headers' CDN Setting within our CDN Dashboard, and it will automatically include a Canonical link header in your requests, directing them back to your original Origin URL. Problem solved!
